I joined the School of Computing Sciences & Computer Engineering in 2007 (named School of Computing at the time). I have a
PhD in Computer Science from Tulane University. My doctoral research was on the performance
of reinforcement learning in a concurrent learning scenario. I have also conducted postdoctoral research under the supervision
of Peter Stone, at the University of Texas at
Austin. I received a Master's degree in Computer Science from the
University of Tulsa in 2000, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering
from Jadavpur University in India in 1998.
Research interests: My research is in the area of distributed artificial intelligence, and autonomous multi-agent systems,
primarily focused on reinforcement learning, reasoning, and planning in such systems. Practical applications in multi-robot systems and
multi-agent simulations serve as the driving force behind my research.
