David Richardson has written a brief description of kinemages which makes good reading. There
is also a description of Mage at the NCBI Molecular Modeling
Database. MAGE users will also want to configure their
browsers to use MAGE as an application and Windows users will want to configure Windows to open kinemage files with MAGE by simply
double-clicking the file.
A portion
of the kinemage authorship manual (pdf) is available as an
online tutorial with helpful hyperlinks. It is also available
in a Microsoft Word version (zipped).
