Information for Instructors Interested in Kinemage Authorship
This study is part of an NSF-funded project to determine if student authorship
of molecular structures is more beneficial to student learning and attitudes
than simply viewing of premade images. If you are teaching a junior/senior level
biochemistry course, please consider having your students author a kinemage
rather than a term paper. Even if you aren't teaching such a course, you are
welcome to try out the fourth edition of our kinemage authorship manual (see
below). You may find the second (tutorial) part of the manual useful in generating
kinemages for your lectures/presentations or in your own research.
