Stty

• tty = print your terminal name

• stty = view or set terminal characteristics

• stty -a = show all terminal characteristics

• stty erase \^h

• stty sane = sets tty to some OK values

• You may need to enter ctrl-M (or ctrl-J) before and after stty sane
